So....I'm sharing this blog belatedly, a few weeks after interviewing this dynamic duo. That's on purpose.
February is usually when we, Black artists, all get work. We are called in to do performances, participate in panels and lead discussions. Have things shifted? I don't know.
Either way, here's my contribution to extending the conversation past the limit of one month per year.
