Black Cake, Turtle Soup, and Other Dilemmas travels to the United Kingdom
What's most exciting now, after the launch of the book and the first months of its release, is learning how it resonates with readers.
In October, 2025, the book will be formally introduced to the UK, with visits to the University of Bristol, Caribbean Studies Studio, Bristol, the Black British Book Fair at the Barbican Centre in London and two venues in Wales, the Coracle Fringe Festival, Caramagen and The Muse in Brecon.
The essays of music, memory and motion are deeply rooted in the global diaspora and will arrive in the UK just in time for their October Black History Month.
